Blessings and Benedictions
Each Sunday, a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) pastor offers a blessing and benediction for the week ahead. We hope that these will inspire you and nurture your faith.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez
Guide us through the roads that are visible
Guide us through the roads that are invisible as well
May your power, your love, your Spirit
Show us your presence, right here and everywhere
Guíanos a través de las carreteras visibles
Guíanos a través de las carreteras invisibles también
Que tu poder, amor y Espíritu
Nos muestre tu presencia, aquí y por doquier

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Ivan Herman
You prefer vanilla
because you always know what you’re going to get.
They call it plain ol’ vanilla. Basic vanilla. Boring vanilla.
Comforting, yet exotic.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Jeff Sockwell
Know that you are never alone
The One who Created you walks with you
Every step, every stumble, every fall
The presence of God, with every breath
The love of God, always, always, forever.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Erin Dunigan
Brothers and sisters, we are meant to be sent. Go into the world with faith that the God who created you sustains you. Go into the world with hope that is unwavering and sure. Go into the world with love that knows no bounds.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Adriene Thorne
Give them hearts after your own heart that they would love and center the outcast, the poor, the powerless, and the stranger. Remind them of the power found in humility, sacrifice, hospitality, and generosity.

Your blessing grows when it is shared.
Your blessing blooms when it takes root.
Your blessing deepens when gratitude springs up around it.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Rebecca Mallozzi
Wonder is good. Wonder is a spark to help us draw closer to God to get to know God better. Remembering how powerful God is reminds us to make room in our faith for awe and wonder. Things may not always feel comfortable – choosing God means our lives will be changed! – but God is always good.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Dr. Andy Kort
I also hope you notice the smaller signs of grace in life too. For like the wine at the wedding in Cana, they can bring joy, celebration, and gladden the heart. And that is a blessing.

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez
In a world that might be divided
In a world that has lost it’s true self
Remind us in the midst of our differences
We are one, we are united, we belong to you God
En un mundo que puede estar dividido
En un mundo que ha perdido su verdadero ser
Recuérdanos en medio de nuestras diferencias
Somos uno, vivir en unidad, te pertenecemos a ti Dios

Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Ivan Herman
The gift of God we know in Jesus is the Word made flesh to live with us.
You are holy and beloved because of God’s word in the flesh.
He is the example of how to love.
Yet people did not always understand his words,
But they experienced divine love through his presence.
