In the middle of smooth and sunny days
Let’s trust the Lord!
In the middle of difficult and rainy days
Let’s Trust the Lord!
In the middle of calm, steady and breezy days
Let’s Trust the Lord!
Let’s go out with confidence even though we have doubts
Let’s feel accompanied even though we are alone
Let’s feel supported even when sometimes we feel betrayed
Because despite what is happening to us and around us
Jesus walks with us in these turbulent waters
May God, the Great I AM,
May Jesus Christ, giver of all possibilities
And the Holy Spirit, sustainer and consoler
Be with us all, now and Forever
Amen.
En medio de días tranquilos y soleados
¡Confiemos en el Señor!
En medio de días difíciles y lluviosos
¡Confiemos en el Señor!
En medio de días calmados, estables y ventosos
¡Confiemos en el Señor!
Salgamos con confianza aunque tengamos dudas
Sintámonos en compañía aunque estemos en soledad
Sintámonos con apoyo aunque a veces sintamos que nos traicionan

Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez Michel is pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Ossining, NY. Jeniffer and her husband, Kyle Craig, are the parents of Emma Sophia and Eric Gabriel. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she pursued her Master of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary. Rev. Rodríguez Michel likes to do creative things with art, both for worship and personally. She is a chaplain of the New York City-based Ecumenical Choir Cántico Nuevo (New Song) and is involved in social justice issues.
