The Presbyterian Foundation Board of Trustees adopted the following vision statement, mission statement, and core values at their November 2025 meeting.

Each of these arose from a collaborative process involving the board, staff leadership, as well as surveys and input from our entire staff. These exemplify how we work every day with each other, with other Presbyterian organizations, with churches, with ministries, and with all whom we serve.

VISION STATEMENT (“The Why”):

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation strives to steward resources for all generations to advance God’s mission of love, justice, and peace.

MISSION STATEMENT (“The How”):

In gratitude to God, guided by the Holy Spirit, the Presbyterian Foundation gathers, responsibly invests, distributes resources, and provides stewardship education in service to Christ’s mission through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and beyond.
