Rev. Gail E Monsma is an experienced interim pastor (head of staff and solo) having served churches in this capacity in Michigan and Wisconsin. Currently she is interim pastor at Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Paw Paw, MI which was formed under her leadership from merging two local congregations. Gail has also served as a head of staff installed pastor, an associate pastor, and served many years in Youth, Young Adult, and Family Ministries.

She received a bachelor’s degree in Business/Organizational Leadership from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI and earned a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She is also certified in Youth Ministry through Princeton Theological Seminary, has a certificate in Executive Leadership through McCormick Presbyterian Seminary, and is a Financial Coach with the Presbyterian Foundation (PCUSA). Currently she is in the process of becoming a certified Spiritual Director.

Each church she has served as head of staff/solo pastor has involved developing best practices for Sessions and reorganizing the financial committees and stewardship process in implementing ways to help the churches thrive.
