Fund RestrictionThe income only from said fund is to be paid to the Program Agency Overseas Mission, to be used for the training of Christian Thai Students for Christian service including the fields of Ministry, Medicine, Nursing and Education, in Thailand if possible or wherever said students can best secure an education for a life of Christian service. The students to benefit from this scholarship fund are to be selected from Bangkok Christian College and Wittaya Academy, Bangkok, in cooperation with the Scholarship Committee in Thailand of the Program Agency Overseas Mission of the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A., Messrs. Stien Tarmallpark, Suty Gunanukara, and Arreya Semprassart also to serve on this Committee, if that be possible.In the event it is not possible to use said funds for the Thailand students, then students shall be selected from Southeast Asia or Middle Asia countries.

Fund Restrictionto the Board of Christian Education of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. with headquarters at Witherspoon Bldg., Philadelphia, Pa. to form an Endowment Fund for a Free Scholarship for deserving young men and women- Negroes- Natives of British Guiana – who desire to pursue a higher education to Teach or Preach the Gospel in this or any other land. I further direct that this Scholarship be made tenable at Johnson C. Smith University of Charlotte, N.C. I further direct that with this act of turning over the Funds to the Board herein mentioned the Trusteeship and Executorship shall cease and the estate settled. I direct that the Board of Christian Education, above mentioned, shall make necessary Rules in keeping with such Scholarships. I further direct that this Scholarship be designated as The Robert and Jane Hector Scholarship in honor of my deceased parents. And that it be advertised in the press in British Guiana for the information of the people. I direct that in case the Scholarship herein mentioned in Paragraph 12 of this Will not taken advantage of by the Negroes of British Guiana that the Board of Christian Education shall make this said Scholarship available to Negroes in this country (U.S.A.) as well. This Scholarship to be tenable at Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, N.C.

Fund Restrictionto be used for pilot studies and projects that will try out the feasibility of creative ideas of seminary students and faculty to keep our traditional faith useful during changing needs and changing times. The fund is not to be used for student scholarships. The Committee on Theological Education (or its successor) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is to review proposals for use of such funds and to select projects to be funded. These proposals can include international components. Only the income from the fund shall be used each year. Whether the money is to be repaid at a future date for use by other students and seminaries is left to the discretion of the Committee on Theological Education (or its successor).
