We come to the fresh start of a new school year filled with possibility and expectation. We return from days of summer rest to days of work, anticipating change and opportunities for new learning. We come home to God’s house grateful to be recipients of an ancient promise – a promise that says God will walk with us in our strength and weakness, and God will show us how to be light and love for the nations. May God, who sets a table before you and serves up a most delicious feast, fill you up until you overflow with love in all the places and spaces you inhabit.
