In the cold and dark of winter, may the warmth and light of Christ shine around you, in you, and through you. Where there is worry, may the hope of Christ bring promise. Where there is division, may the peace of Christ draw us together. Where there is oppression, may the power of Christ usher in justice and freedom. Where there is sorrow, may the joy of Christ gently ring in our hearts. Where there is loneliness, may the company of Christ embrace us. For the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness shall never overcome it. Amen.
