Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Dr. Andy Kort

by Rev. Dr. Andy Kort

Nicodemus sought Christ at night. When it was dark. When it was perhaps colder. When shadows seem to cover everything. When the world sleeps. Night. Darkness. That is when Nicodemus met Jesus. Beloved, when the world seems dark, may you know that you can meet Jesus then too. Later, we are also told that Jesus rose and the tomb was empty, while it was still dark. In fact, the risen Christ shows us that new life, hope, and possibilities can happen in the darkness; because it is in darkness that the light of Christ shines so bright, and it cannot be overcome. May the light of the risen Christ meet you in your darkness, and just when you need it most.
