Benediction from Jeniffer Rodriguez

by Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez Michel

We are one family
As a family of God let us not forget the unity through God’s love that keeps us together.

Let’s plant perseverance among the opposition we might be facing
Let’s dig until we find reconciliation among divisions we see and experience every day
Let’s water the seeds of our plantation so words of healing can be spread to the ones who are broken-hearted

We are children of God
We are precious creatures who are here to listen deeper to one another.

Let’s treat everybody with respect
Let’s pay attention to everyone with no exception
Let’s focus on the common ground given to us from the beginning of creation
Let’s put our differences aside so we can grow focusing on the word of God.

We are together
As people who find guidance from the light of God let’s never give up on the work we have ahead of us. Amen.
