Presbyterian Foundation participates in strategic planning process of World Communion of Reformed Churches
by Presbyterian Foundation
Three members of the senior staff of the Presbyterian Foundation were invited to attend and contribute to a strategic planning session for the World Communion of Reformed Churches in Hannover, Germany.
Tom Taylor, President and CEO, Rob Fohr, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Engagement, and Robyn Davis Sekula, Vice President of Communications and Marketing, were invited to participate. Tom and Rob served on a sustainability team, and Robyn served on a communications team.
The 3-day process brought together faith leaders from around the world, gathering for worship, fellowship, study, discussion, and planning. About 40 people attended and participated, including Rev. Jihyun Oh, Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and Rev. Dr. Neal D. Presa, Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of San Jose and Moderator of the 220th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Neal served as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and its Chair; Jihyun serves on the New Covenant Trust Company Board of Directors.
The planning session also gave those who attended an opportunity to say farewell to Rev. Dr. Setri Nyomi, who served as General Secretary of the WCRC. Nyomi was named General Secretary Emeritus by the WCRC’s officers meeting in December.
This was followed by the installation of Rev. Philip Vinod Peacock as the General Secretary. The WCRC published an account of the installation service, which you can read below.
