Rob Fohr

Senior Vice President, Strategy and Engagement

Rob Fohr serves as the Senior Vice President for Strategy and Engagement and provides leadership for constituent engagement functions of the Presbyterian Foundation including development and investment relations. Rob joined the Foundation in November 2023 and serves both the Foundation and New Covenant Trust Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Foundation, ensuring the two organizations are aligned as both continue a strong path of growth. Additionally, he helps build strategies and relationships with the goal of enhanced service to mid council organizations (synods and presbyteries) in the PC(USA).

Fohr has been active in the denominational life of the PC(USA) since 2005, starting with a year of service in the Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program, and then served for over 15 years in the former Presbyterian Mission Agency in a variety of positions. He served for 8 years as the lead staff person for the PC(USA)’s committee on Mission Responsibility Through Investment (MRTI), the committee charged with advancing the mission goals of the PC(USA) through its invested capital. Prior to his professional service in the PC(USA), Fohr worked in the private sector for a media research firm as a project director and consultant.

Fohr holds a Master of Arts in religion from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and has a bachelor’s in business administration from Abilene Christian University. Fohr serves on the Board of Directors of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility based in New York City (serving as Board Chair from 2021-2025). He also serves on the Board of Directors of New Covenant Trust Company, and on the Alum Board of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

He is an ordained ruling elder in the PC(USA), and is married to the Rev. Christine Coy Fohr, who serves as pastor of Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church (Louisville, Kentucky).
