Paul Baldasare is the retired President of St. Andrews University (formerly St. Andrews Presbyterian College) in Laurinburg, N.C. He is an elder and long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, Durham, NC.

Paul was in private law practice before serving nine years as Associate Legal Counsel for UNC-Chapel Hill. He then returned to his alma mater as Vice President for Advancement and in 2007 was chosen to be the eighth and first alumnus President of St. Andrews University. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the Association of Presbyterian Colleges & Universities (APCU) and the NC Independent Colleges & Universities (NCICU).

Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Andrews Presbyterian College and law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. Paul is married to Jane R. Wettach, retired Clinical Professor of Law at Duke University School of Law. They have two children, Gabriel and Leah.
