The Holy One is in our midst
Walking beside us in our daily living.
When we stray from our path
And try to hide from God in our shame
God calls out to us, “where are you?”
May we answer God’s call.
May we emerge from our hiding places
Trusting in a God that loves us
And forgives us
And leads us home.
