Fund Restriction

Income to be used for scholarships to enable persons to attend conferences sponsored (solely or jointly) by the Mountain Retreat Association during the period from September-May. Scholarships may include fees, room and board, travel or any normal expense for attending a conference. Preference shall be given to helping persons attend new, innovative and/or smaller conferences where the main focus is to enable conferees to provide some specific service(s) at the congregational level. This preference is not to prohibit giving scholarships where the conference purpose is more related to individual or personal concerns.
