Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Kyle Nolan

God of our fasting and our feasting,
Bless us with a hunger that can only be assuaged by your justice,
and a thirst quenched by nothing less than your righteousness.
May we not be satisfied by bread alone. but only by your word,
and only by your presence, Holy One.
Sharpen our hope and magnify our longing,
O Lord and Master of Life.
Take from us every spirit of sloth, despondency, lust for power, and idle talk.
And in their place, give us a spirit of integrity, humility, patience, and love.
Grant us each to see our own transgressions, and not to judge our brothers and sisters.
For you are blessed unto ages of ages. Amen.*

Rev. Kyle Nolan is a Ministry Relations Officer serving the Upper Midwest region, which includes North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
