Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez

by Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez Michel

In a world that might be divided
In a world that has lost it’s true self
Remind us in the midst of our differences
We are one, we are united, we belong to you God

Some of us might feel weak, some others super strong
Some of us are in agreement, some of us not quite sure
We all can come to a common ground founded in love
Because Jesus Christ is in the middle and around us all

Help us to accept each other Spirit of wisdom
Help us to be guided by your power and care
Not hatred, not hate but opportunities to listen and grow
Not violence, not oppression but opportunities to be one

Equity, justice and restoration is what we need
With you God creator of heavens and earth,
Jesus our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit
Help us, guide us and lead us all. Amen
