Blessing and Benediction from Rev. Elizabeth Kanerva

by Rev. Elizabeth Kanerva

The whispered sounds of Spring have grown into the full-throated chorus of birds, blooms, and budding trees. The sun warms our faces and bare feet sink into green grass if we dare to take off our shoes. I invite you to wonder and wander in the goodness of God’s creation this week. And whether greeted by the last of soft April showers or the warmth of May to come, be mindful of this fragile gift we are called to tend. Be mindful of the careful stewardship required of us. Dare to ask the hard questions and to listen with careful attention. In this Easter season, be filled with new life, open to all that is possible, open to all God is calling you to embrace. May the grace of the Lord be with you, the love of God surround you, and the Spirit lift you.
