As schedules shift into summer mode, we bask in the warmth of God’s lavish love. We delight in possibilities that stretch before us like sunny days. For opportunities to Sabbath in the beauty of creation. For the laughter and joy of children who teach us the life giving rhythm of play. For the freedom to love and be loved. We are grateful. We pray with all who travel and vacation and with all who would like to travel and vacation but are unable. We hold out hope for a time to come soon when all goodness will be available to all people. May you, and all God’s people, experience a portion of God’s rest today and in the days to come.
