This gathering of presbytery and synod financial staff, treasurers, finance committee members, and executives will be a time of learning from one another, sharing our best practices, and identifying emerging opportunities and challenges.

Presentations will include topics, such as:

• church law and tax update
• cybersecurity
• investment management in mid-councils
• insurance issues and risk management
• property management and disposition
• borrowing issues in a changing interest-rate environment
• congregation sustainability assessment

For our attendees, please read the information below.

The conference is located at North Avenue Presbyterian Church, 607 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308. (Please note there are many variations of Peachtree Streets in Atlanta. Be sure the address you use is NORTHEAST.)

If you are on foot, you can ONLY enter and exit from the church’s Peachtree Street door. We’ll keep an eye out for guests and look forward to welcoming you!

You may park at the church during the day if needed, but do not use church parking overnight. If staying at the Georgian Terrace Hotel, please park there.

Parking is available in the church’s garage, which is located at 607 Courtland St NE (also called Juniper Street on some maps and signs). Please pull a ticket as you enter and the church will validate your parking. When you enter the church from the parking garage, you will need a code to access the church; this will only be used during our conference. Enter 1122 on the keypad and press the handicap button to open the door. This can ONLY be used at the Courtland Street parking deck entrance to the church.
