Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources
As Senior Vice President & Director of Human Resources for the Presbyterian Foundation, Troy D. Marables, SHRM‑CP leads the full spectrum of human resources strategy and operations. Troy joined the organization in 1997 and has served in his current role since 2018. As the Human Resources Director, he plans and directs HR policies, objectives, and initiatives across the organization and oversees an end‑to‑end Human Resources function, including talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employee support services.
Troy serves as a key strategic partner to leadership, ensuring HR programs align with the Foundation’s mission, values, and operational priorities. He also builds and develops teams and technology resources that support regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, transaction processing, and analysis of workforce metrics.
He is certified as a SHRM Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management and is an active member of Kentucky SHRM and Louisville SHRM, reflecting his commitment to advancing the HR profession and staying engaged with the broader HR community.
Troy has over 25 years of experience at the Foundation and with New Covenant Trust Company. Troy previously worked for PNC Bank and PNC Mortgage. He studied Business Administration at Florida A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership & Learning (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Louisville.
