Marilee is a CPA and practiced public accounting for more than 30 years before retiring in 2011. She continues in a consulting capacity for Crowe Horwath LLP where she was the partner in charge of the forensic practice. Marilee served the Presbyterian Foundation as chair from 2014-2016.
She is a member, treasurer and past elder, trustee, and deacon at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. She has been active as treasurer and board member to numerous charities and organizations, including Planned Parenthood, Young Women’s Leadership Charter School, Chicago Lights, and a member of the National Advisory Board to Wichita State University. She earned her degree at Wichita State University and holds a Not-for-Profit Core Concepts certification from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
