#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. Normally, Giving Tuesday is held in late November or early December to encourage people to support non-profits, charities and churches, but the pandemic has left many organizations without the donations that they need to help others. The founders of Giving Tuesday are providing this opportunity for people to support causes they love now.
We’re providing resources here for congregations that want to participate in #GivingTuesdayNow. Much of the advice we’d offer for #GivingTuesday is still valid for #GivingTuesdayNow – so feel free to peruse these resources. Reach out to Robyn Davis Sekula, Vice President of Communications and Marketing at the Presbyterian Foundation if you have questions. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org or (502) 569-5101.
