The season of Lent calls us into the wilderness to face the depths of our brokenness.

It is our 40-day journey into the desert of our lives, our opportunity to reflect in humility on the path of discipleship that we follow.

Despair we must not, for the journey is not ours alone.  Entwined we are by the relentless tenacity of God, that embraces us in love as we face our deepest anxieties and fears.

As close as your next breath, as near as your next faltering step, your journey is held in the passion of the One that simply will not let you go alone into the darkness.

Take heart, fellow travelers – hope is rekindled and birthed in this season, as we begin anew.
