Wills Emphasis Program

Encouraging members to remember the church in their wills and other estate plans can extend your ministry and provide benefits for future generations. A gift to your church or ministry is an extension of a lifetime of stewardship and many individuals make a charitable bequest to provide a statement of faith and commitment.

The Foundation provides resources to congregations to promote the importance of remembering the church as part of Christian estate planning. Wills emphasis is celebrated church-wide on the first Sunday of May each year or another day may be selected to better suit your calendar.

Resources
The Legacy of a Lifetime Leadership Guide (printer-friendly black and white version) is available to guide you in planning a program to encourage your members to make lifetime giving a part of their stewardship. Also available in full color.

Preprinted resources such as bulletin insert, bulletin covers, and bookmarks are available free of charge. The church is responsible for shipping charges only, payable by credit card.
