Living Legacy Program
Suppose you have a personal interest in a program at your church to support the homeless in the inner-city. You may have volunteered from time to time serving meals for the homeless and hungry, taking your stewardship a step further, you established a permanent endowment fund that will make payments to your church in perpetuity to support this worthy mission. Through the Living Legacy program, individuals who have establishsed permanent endowment funds may name members of their family as Legacies of the fund. The Foundation will share this story, in their own words, with the current Legacies and the Legacies they name in the future, allowing each generation to learn more about why the fund was established for the chosen mission or ministry. If you have established a permanent endowment fund and wish to participate in the Living Legacy program, call Mary Lynn Green at 502-569-5904 or download a Living Legacy form. From early in our childhoods, we have been taught to leave the world a better place than we found it - environmentaly, culturally, spiritually. And, as we grow into adulthood, we pass these principles on to our children and to our grandchildren, who learn largely from our example. By sharing the story of our stewardship with our family members, this particular legacy can be carried on into the future.
