The Presbyterian Foundation's Ministry Partnership Program is a simple and creative online system that provides resources to grow support for your mission. You also receive the services of a trusted partner to professionally administer and safeguard the funds you raise. More and more Americans find that the only check they write is their offering to the church. Those in younger generations may not even use a checkbook – preferring to handle all of their contributions and bills electronically. When your church passes the offering plate on Sunday morning – are you limiting your offering to pocket change from those who feel oblig
ated to put something in, but would give more with an online option?
Online Options to Simplify Giving
GIVE NOW feature
You can now accept secure online donations. You can add the GIVE NOW option to your website to accept gifts by debit or credit card, electronic funds transfer, or from donor-advised funds. Your members can even set up recurring gifts.
No need to negotiate with credit card vendors, merchant services, etc. The Presbyterian Foundation will take care of processing all online gifts, validating and reconciling transactions for you. Online fund management tools allow you to:
Monitor donations and fund balances
Request withdrawals from funds raised
Acknowledge gifts and tell donors about the impact of their donations
Produce giving reports
Ministry Profile Pages
Make the case for your ministry by developing a profile page for each fund you create. Your profile page can include photos and videos, along with your organization's mission, and your vision for what will be done with the dollars you are seeking. Each profile page includes a "Give Now”button to easily begin the donation process.
Other Giving Options
Gifts are not limited to online options. Donors have direct access to charitable giving experts for planned and legacy giving. The Foundation can accept non-traditional assets on your behalf, such as business interests, farmland and real estate – assets that are often overlooked or not considered and may provide additional tax advantages to the donor.
